Missional Idea for Advancing the Gospel: What if this Christmas we really lived as though it was better to give than receive? If you have children, sit down with them tonight and read Acts 20:35b. Then, ask this question: “What would Christmas look like this year if we believed it was better for our family to give than receive?” For my family (jz), we’ve decided to let our kids use the money we would typically spend on them for Christmas to purchase gifts for children that our family is serving in the Heights. When they give the gifts this Christmas, we hope to explain how God has given us the gift of Jesus. What will you and/or your family do this Christmas?
